As part of a Girl Scout Gold 2023 project aiming to spread awareness of pollution and Muck-rete as a potential solution, Sophia created over 3000 pounds of pavers from muck dredged from the Indian River Lagoon. The pavers will be used by the Marine Resource Council mangrove nursery.
